My favorite children's spaces are unstudied and lacking a "theme." Easy, colorful, and kid-friendly:

P.S. (From Leigh): See more delicious eye candy over at Raina's blog, including the amazing transformation of her daughter's room! You might at first visit to get a hit of Raina's talent for posting gorgeous and chic inspiration photos, but you'll keep coming back for her saucy commentary and outrageous wit on all things decor-related. Luv huh.

  2. even though mine is now a teenager, I enjoyed those very much. but I gotta say, I think the room Raina created for her daughter might top them all....

  3. What I love about your ‘kid rooms’ is that they really work intro the teenage years. They are sophisticated and playful -- all at the same time. Beautiful!

  4. Great images Raina! The rooms are as you say very natural and not contrived.

Thanks Leigh for featuring one of my favorite bloggers!

  7. I love these (especially the first image with the wonderful Weinrib rug) but the Chucky doll in #3 is frightening and I think the bed in #4 is a bit too heavy. Nonetheless, great round-up.

  10. ugh! These are all so good! Now I want to redo the nursery and mr. man isn't even here yet.

Ok, I can wait a year, but I'm totally knocking one of these off when it's time for a remodel.
