baby sleep positions

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
We love co-sleeping, and are looking forward to bedsharing as a family of five (!!!) but I would be lying if I said I didn't get a chuckle out of this series of illustrations posted over at How To Be A Dad. If you've ever gotten a foot in the face in the middle of the night, or wondered if you would ever sleep cuddled up to your partner again, you have to click over and read the hilarious descriptions of "The Stalker", "The Neck Scarf", "Booby Trap", and "H is for Hell" for yourself.

PS: On a more serious note, here's what the Directors of the Mother-Baby Behavioral Sleep Laboratory at the University of Notre Dame have to say about cosleeping and bedsharing.

  1. ME TOO!! Those positions seem very familiar. As a matter of fact, I think I could add a few more.

  5. this is missing our position, where H only sleeps when cradled in the crook of our arms. *sigh*
