I would love a print of this one. Off to see if the internet can point me to one.
I love all the painting you have on here. My mother-in-law has done a couple of me bfing my babies. My favorite painting I have found but can't find it in print is: George Hitchcock's White Lilies http://www.artnet.com/artwork/426053188/485/george-hitchcock-the-white-lilies.html
Oh, that painting is fab! Thanks for introducing it to me :)
Hi Leigh, thanks for all your lovely breastfeeing inspiration. I have a question for you about slings. I had a really great experience with feeding my daughter, she is just starting to wean now at 18 months. The only thing is, I never figured out how to feed her in a sling. I have another on the way and am wondering, what is the best sling, in your opinion, for feeding? Those ring slings look amazing. I had a wrap which I used the majority of the time for Elsie (ie she was upright with her head on my chest) and a side-lying pouch-type, and neither of these worked for me, though I loved everything else about them. I'd really love to be able to feed without pulling the baby out and then putting him/her back in, but I could never get the angle right. Maybe my boobs are too big?? I don't know!! Any words of wisdom would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Ring slings are my absolute favorite carrier for breastfeeding babies and kids -- they are so easy to adjust and therefore perfect for any size parent, child, and boobs. So funny that you posted this comment, as I have been planning on doing a couple of ring sling videos soon, and one of the topics on my list is breastfeeding in the sling! Stay tuned :)
Thanks! I look forward to reading more. :-)
Leigh, How are you? SOO funny, I was going to email you the same question as above. Also, wanted to know if I can use a sling on Cole at 6 months, he's about 17 lbs I think or more. We should get Hazel & Cole together next time you are in the city. Mxx
Hi Michelle! I am so behind on my email...I've wanted to get back to you and say hello for a while, now! I hope you are all well. To answer your question, the sling is great for newborns up beyond toddlerdom. I just recently wore Jackson in the sling when we were walking in the city and he got tired out and just couldn't go any further -- and he's almost 5! So yes, six months and 17 lbs. is no problem ;) XOXO.
